The Genesis Center is pleased to offer authors the option to publish their original works on The Genesis Center!
Publishing on The Genesis Center allows users to download and use your work in their own churches and homes. The Genesis Center does not offer any compensation for published works during this time. When we publish an original work on The Genesis Center, we will feature it on appropriate website pages, make a physical copy available to check out from our Online Resource Library, add the Genesis watermark to all copies to prevent unlawful distribution, and possibly showcase your work in our newsletters or as a featured resource!
Anyone is welcome to submit a work to The Genesis Center during open submission periods, but we also have themed submission periods throughout the year. Please refer to the submission guideline's below for more information and to check if we are currently accepting open submissions at this time.

General Submission GuidelinesDuring Open Submissions, The Genesis Center accepts submissions of all Reformed and spiritual works including: devotions, Bible studies, curriculum, blogs, poetry, prayer, crafts, and fiction/non-fiction short stories. If you are unsure if your work fits these guidelines, please email us!
We are specifically looking for creative works that inspire and connect people on their personal faith journeys. We also value works that promote acceptance, caring, and love for our neighbors and ourselves. *We only accept electronic submissions via email during this time* When submitting your work please follow these guidelines:
Email submissions to: Sherri Adler, Director of the Genesis Center resources@monmouthpresbytery.com Submissions may take up to six weeks to process. Please do not contact us on the status of your submission until after six weeks. The Genesis Center Creative Team will review all submission and have the final decisions regarding all submitted work. Work may be rejected at any time, without any reason given. In addition, The Genesis Center Creative may suggest some edits to your piece and offer publishing if those edits are made. We will always try to work with the authors to keep the integrity and theme of their piece, but retain final say over what copy will be published. |
Open Submission Status: OPENThe Genesis Center will be accepting works of any theme during the following Open Submission period. Please allow for up to six weeks for a response on your work. Thank you.

Please read the following before submitting any work to The Genesis Center
By submitting your work to The Genesis Center you are understanding and agreeing to the following: the submitted work has not been commercially published or published by another company; you will not be receiving any monetary compensation for your work; you are the sole author or have submitted all of the work's author's permission and contact information to The Genesis Center; the work you are submitting is original work and is not paraphrased, copied, or otherwise created by anyone else other than yourself and any other authors listed.
By submitting your work to The Genesis Center you are understanding and agreeing to the following if your work is accepted for publishing by The Genesis Center: you will be contacted via email once regarding any edits The Genesis Center creative team would like to make, and have 2 (two) weeks to reply before The Genesis Center Creative team will assume the edits are valid and will publish your piece reflecting any edits made; your work will be available for users to download via a PDF with a watermark and The Genesis Center information added to it on The Genesis Center website at www.genesiscenternow.com, and be available to use in churches/schools free of charge; you and any other authors will not be given any monetary compensation for being published on The Genesis Center website; The Genesis Center will not charge members and users for the individual use of your work (subject to change); The Genesis Center Webmaster/Curator has full authority on the position and formatting of your work on The Genesis Center website as well as how long it remains active; The Genesis Center Webmaster/Curator has full authority on how many physical copies are made for The Genesis Center Online Resource Library and how they will be formatted; The Genesis Center can choose to remove your work from their website and Online Resource Library at any time, without any notification.
Note on Simultaneous Submissions: If you are submitting to multiple website/magazines with your piece, please let us know and contact us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere so that we can remove it from our submissions. After your work has been published on The Genesis Center, you are still more the welcome to publish your work on other websites, blogs, in books or anthologies, or in other media, however The Genesis Center still retains permission to publish your work on The Genesis Center website and make physical copies.
